| Once a Marine Debuts at BEA
Last week, Savas Beatie participated in the publishing industry's largest North American conference, Book Expo America, in Los Angeles. There, we announced the September release of Once a Marine: An Iraq War Tank Commander's Inspirational Memoir of Combat, Courage, and Recovery by Nick Popaditch with Mike Steere. We are honored to be publishing such a powerful, honest, and heartfelt memoir. While at the book show, "Gunny Pop" and co-author Mike Steere signed nearly 200 advance galley copies of their book. The highly-anticipated wait for One Continuous Fight: The Retreat from Gettysburg and the Pursuit of Lee's Army of Northern Virginia, July 4-14, 1863 is over! The book shipped from the printer last week and is now available. ALL THREE AUTHORS, Eric J. Wittenberg, J. David Petruzzi, and Michael F. Nugent, will be signing a limited number of copies of the book. If you are interested in a signed coy, place your order with us ASAP. The 1st edition is already nearly sold out. Summer is upon us and our author book signing events are heating up! Here's a list of what's in store for June: One Continuous Fight Gettysburg Release Weekend June 6-8 -- All three authors will be in Gettysburg for the book's release weekend and events at Gallery 30, Farnsworth, Gettysburg Park Visitor's Center, the American Civil War Museum, and the American History Store. Major General Robert E Rodes Gettysburg Release Weekend June 27-29 -- Author Darrell Collins will be in Gettysburg for the release of his Rodes biography. If you will be in town that weekend for a park visit or the Gettysburg book show, please reply to this email and we will email you a list of his scheduled events. And More! -- Benedict Arnold's Army author Arthur Lefkowitz will be at Fort Montgomery June 23. Building the Green Machine author Colt Foutz will be at the Columbia College booth at Chicago Printer's Row Book Fair June 8 at 12:10 p.m. and Anderson's Book Shop in Naperville, IL June 29 at 1 p.m. Savas Beatie Quiz Corner To celebrate this month's release of One Continuous Fight, we are giving away a copy of Plenty of Blame to Go Around, Eric Wittenberg and J.
