It's too early to talk about leaves falling from the trees, but as we turn the calendar to September, we see some big book news on the horizon for the remainder of 2018. Here are some highlights to whet your appetite:
- We suspect we'll have a BIG Kindle book deal appear before the end of the year. You'll read about it in our newsletter and on Facebook first, so be sure you're subscribed to our newsletter and follow our FB page!
- David Powell, Timothy Smith, and Eric Wittenberg are all big names in the Civil War world. And Savas Beatie has three big books coming out by them this Fall. Watch for release dates on their books soon (respectively: Union Command Failure in the Shenandoah: Major General Franz Sigel and the War in the Valley of Virginia, May 1864, The Real Horse Soldiers: Benjamin Grierson’s Epic Civil War Raid through Mississippi, April 17-May 2, 1863, Holding the Line on the River of Death: Union Mounted Forces at Chickamauga, September 18, 1863).
- We also have some exciting news regarding our Spring 2019 release "Too Much for Human Endurance": The George Spangler Farm Hospitals and the Battle of Gettysburg by Ronald D. Kirkwood. It'll be announced in the monthly newsletter next week. (Yet another reason to make sure that you're subscribed here!)
