Happy (Morehouse) Monday, everyone! I know, I know - that was far too cheery for a Monday, but I'm in a great mood as I have great news to share!
For just under a week's portion of Jan's return to Georgia next month, I will be in tow! That's right, Georgians - I will finally be physically visiting the state that I've been virtually living in since early this year and I'm pretty darn excited! While I have visited the East Coast for various reasons and did the D.C./Gettysburg trip with my 8th grade class (many, many moons ago), I have never actually been to Georgia. On top of being able to just be a tourist, I'm also really excited to finally meet a lot of the folks I've been talking to these last several months. I'm not even going to tell you when I'll be around, you'll just have to come to each event and see! It'll a Where's Waldo of sorts. Be sure to enter our newly confirmed events on your calendar as follows:
September 16th at the Newnan Carnegie Library in Newnan at 2 pm.
September 20th at the Ada Mae Ivester Education Center in Gainesville at 1 pm.
September 21st with the Rotary Club of Savannah East at The Pirates House in Savannah at noon.
September 23rd at the Macon Barnes and Noble from 2 - 5 pm.
Have a great week and I hope to see you soon!
