Hey, ya'll! It's Renee again with what I am now calling, "Morehouse Mondays". Keeping you up to date on author events and media coverage.
Jan Croon's Georgia tour dates for, The War Outside My Window, are filling up fast! Since I last wrote, I've confirmed events with the Rotary Club of Marietta Metro on September 17 at noon; at Barrington Hall in Roswell for their lecture series on September 19 from 7-9 pm; the Old Governor's Mansion in Milledgeville on September 25 at 6 pm; the T.R.R. Cobb House in Athens the day after at 4 pm; and a multi-author event at the Savannah Barnes and Noble on September 28! We've also got a new interview with Jan that was featured on the podcast - All the Biscuits in Georgia (I just LOVE that name!). Check it out at: https://anchor.fm/AlltheBiscuitsinGA
I've also been working on getting Terry Schmidt and Alann Barkley (authors of September Mourn) out and about. They just made an appearance at Antietam, but don't worry if you missed it - they'll be back at the Pry House Field Hospital and Museum on August 25!
Finally, I'm excited for Dr. Brad Gottfried being back in the States so I can book him to promote the latest in the Civil War Atlas Series, The Maps of Fredericksburg! Everyone raves about his presentations (seriously, the guy has the PG version of groupies and they follow him around when he's on tour), so be sure to keep an eye on our calendar for events beginning in September!
Thanks everyone and have a great week!
