Things are still pretty exciting at SB as we’re nearly booked for the entirety of Jan Croon’s second round of her Georgia tour for The War Outside My Window! I’ve only got a few spots left to fill (if you’re local and have any venue/group ideas that we may not be privy to on the West Coast, feel free to let us know)! What I thought might be a brief return has turned into another 2 week jaunt as the interest is high. Keep an eye on our calendar for those as well as events with Jan elsewhere in some of the other 50 states (PA, OH, AL, VA, IL, NY).
I’m also getting excited about and gearing up for Small Business Saturdays! Some of our authors have been participating in this for the last couple of years. It’s the Mom and Pop shop’s answer to Black Friday and is especially meaningful to us as a small, independent publishing house. So be sure to work off the turkey weight and stroll down Main Street to your local bookstore the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Maybe you’ll see your favorite Savas Beatie author!
Finally, you know him. You love him. Our very own Bossman, Ted Savas, will be interviewed on one of my absolute favorite podcasts, The History Author show with Dean Karayanis! Be sure to find the show now (historyauthor.com) so you’re ready when Ted’s episode airs on August 27th. It’s a great look into The War Outside My Window from the publisher's perspective.
